Support for Education in Ivory Coast
15 April 2026
On Friday, March 27, 2026, Semlex Ivory Coast, through its Semlex For Education Foundation, donated computer and teaching equipment to the Application 2 Public Primary School in Agboville. This initiative forms part of the company’s corporate social responsibility policy, which has for several years been committed to modernizing education and promoting equal opportunities for pupils throughout Ivory Coast.
During the ceremony, the Chief Executive Officer of Semlex Ivory Coast, Mr. Stanislas Le Page, reiterated the vision upheld by the foundation: to provide long-term support to the Ivorian authorities in strengthening the education system and to foster young people’s access to the essential tools of tomorrow.
“Since information technology lies at the heart of our sector of activity, and in an increasingly digitalized world, we quickly understood that access to digital tools, especially in schools, should no longer be a luxury but a necessity. It opens the doors to knowledge, nurtures creativity, and prepares pupils for the challenges of tomorrow,” he stated.
The Chief Executive Officer also emphasized the consistency of Semlex’s social commitment, noting that the company carries out several CSR initiatives each year in different parts of the country:
“Through these donations, we support local initiatives in order to give children the same learning advantages as those enjoyed by children in major cities.”
Explaining why Agboville was chosen for this first initiative of the year, Mr. Le Page praised the efforts undertaken locally to support education, saying it was only natural for Semlex to make its contribution there. He expressed the hope that this equipment would become a genuine driver of ambition, curiosity, and success for the pupils.
A Hope-Bearing Commitment for Pupils
The ceremony was also marked by an emotional address from Mr. Ago Christian Kodia, Chief Executive Officer of ONECI, a former pupil and benefactor of the school. Reflecting on the importance of digital technology in learning, he emphasized the opportunity that such a donation represents for the children of this school.
In the same spirit, Mrs. Koné Bintou, Inspector of Preschool and Primary Education for Agboville 1, praised the donation as a powerful gesture, one that symbolizes a brighter future and renewed hope for the learners.
A Tangible Investment in the Quality of Education
Speaking on behalf of his school, the Headmaster of the Application 2 Public Primary School in Agboville, Mr. Kouamé Kouassi Comoé, expressed his deep gratitude to Semlex Ivory Coast and its foundation for this significant support.
According to him, this donation goes far beyond the mere provision of equipment: it constitutes a tangible investment in the future of the school, in improving the quality of teaching, and in strengthening pupils’ skills through better access to digital technology.
Semlex For Education, Serving More Inclusive Education
Through Semlex For Education, Semlex Ivory Coast reaffirms its determination to take concrete action for a more modern, inclusive, and equitable education system. By facilitating access to computer and teaching tools, the company is helping to create a learning environment better suited to the demands of today’s world and to the ambitions of Ivorian pupils.
Because investing in education means investing in the future, Semlex will continue, alongside institutional and local stakeholders, its efforts in support of youth and skills development.
