Semlex, a long-standing partner of the Republic of Guinea-Bissau in civil identification services, inaugurated a new mobile enrollment center on May 15, 2025, in the Plack 2 district of Bissau. This new facility complements the existing network of mobile centers already operating in the neighborhoods of B Militar, B Ajuda, Santa Luzia, and Antula.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
A Local Service for Several Districts<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Thanks to this mobile center, residents of Plack 2 and the neighboring districts of Safim, Bissalanca, Ntussinho, and Bissauzinho can now obtain their official documents without needing to travel to the main center in Quinhamel or the B Militar center. The process is therefore simplified, significantly reducing the time and travel costs for citizens.<\/p>\n\n\n\n An Official Inauguration<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n The opening ceremony was presided over by the Director General of Civil Identification, representing the Minister of Justice. Also in attendance were the Head of the Civil Registry Office of Plack 2 and his deputy, the Director of the Biometric Center, and Mr. Zefrino Cardoso Soares, representative of Semlex Bissau.<\/p>\n\n\n\n In his speech, the Director General praised “Semlex\u2019s exemplary speed in restoring the premises and acquiring the necessary furniture and IT equipment for biometric enrollment.” He also urged the population \u201cto visit the Plack 2 center in large numbers to obtain their birth certificates, marriage certificates, notarial services, and identity cards.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n Commitment and Modernization<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n With this new initiative, Semlex reaffirms its commitment to modernizing civil registry services in Guinea-Bissau and bringing public administration closer to its citizens.
